(January 9, 2014) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that Deltran Battery Tender®, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency battery chargers, has increased their role with the team. Battery Tender was an associate sponsor of the team’s 2013 IndyCar Series program and in 2014 they will expand their involvement with RLL as an associate sponsor for both the IndyCar program and two-car United SportsCar Championship (USCC) effort. In addition to strategic branding across both IndyCar and USCC programs, the partnership includes a personal services role with IndyCar Series driver Graham Rahal, who is expected to again be featured in a commercial for the brand.
SEBRING, Fla. (December 19, 2013) – Graham Rahal, 24, completed a two-day test at the 1.65-mile Sebring International Raceway short course today in preparation for the 2014 IndyCar Series season. He ran a total of 76 laps with a best lap time of 52.5 with HPD’s new twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine today after running the single turbo here yesterday for 101 laps with a best lap time of 52.37. Today’s test was brought to an end one hour early when an electrical problem surfaced at approx. 4 p.m. ET.
SEBRING, Fla. (December 18, 2013) – Graham Rahal completed a trouble-free day of testing today at the 1.65-mile Sebring International Raceway short course in preparation for the 2014 IndyCar Series season. He completed a total of 101 laps with a best lap time of 52.37 with Honda Performance Development’s single turbo engine installed in the DW12 chassis. The team will switch to the new HPD twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine overnight and continue testing tomorrow.

(November 18, 2013) – Graham Rahal completed a trouble-free day of testing today at the 1.65-mile Sebring International Raceway short course in preparation for the 2014 IndyCar Series season. He completed a total of 107 laps with a best lap time of 53.28. It was his first test with new race engineer Bill Pappas and with Honda Performance Development’s new twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine.

(October 31, 2013) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that Bill Pappas will join the team as race engineer for Graham Rahal’s IndyCar Series program beginning November 1. Pappas has over 25 years of racing experience after working with teams such as Roush Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing, Walker Racing, Panther Racing, and others. Most recently he was the race engineer for Justin Wilson at Dale Coyne Racing from 2012 – 2013.
Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – Oct. 19, 2013 … BMW Team RLL finished second and fourth in today’s American Le Mans Series Petit Le Mans. The 16th annual1000-mile race, held at Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA, concluded the debut season for the new BMW Z4 GTE with BMW finishing second in the GT class Manufacturer’s standings and BMW Team RLL second in the Team standings. Dirk Müller finished second in Driver points for the 2013 season.
