Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – July 21, 2013 . . . BMW Team RLL did all it could today at the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, but ultimately ended the 2.45-hour race fifth and sixth in the GT class.
Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – July 20, 2013 . . . With a 1:15.672 minute lap around the 2.46-mile, 10-turn Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formally Mosport) circuit, GT class points leader Dirk Müller qualified the No. 56 BMW Z4 GTE in the fourth position for tomorrow’s American Le Mans Series Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix. His time was only .210 seconds from the class pole. Just .054 seconds behind Müller, Bill Auberlen qualified the No. 55 BMW Z4 GTE fifth with a 1:15.726 minute lap.
Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – July 16, 2013 . . . The opening four rounds of the 2013 American Le Mans Series have seen the new BMW Z4 GTE race to the GT class victory at both Long Beach and Lime Rock Park. Round Five will be held at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, on July 21with BMW Team RLL focusing on increasing Dirk Müller’s lead in Driver points and moving to the top of the Manufacturer and Team points.
Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – July 6, 2013… Dirk Müller and John Edwards, driving the No. 56 BMW Z4 GTE, won today’s American Le Mans Series Northeast Grand Prix from the pole position. The win increases Müller’s lead in the GT driver point standings and moves BMW to within (unofficially) three points of the lead in the Manufacturer’s Championship. Bill Auberlen and Maxime Martin, in the No. 55 Z4 GTE, finished fourth. The victory also resulted in the No. 56 machine being awarded the Michelin Green X Challenge Award adding an exclamation point on the story of the day.
