Gehl Returns to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing as an Associate Sponsor for the Team’s IndyCar Program

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (March 13, 2014) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that the Gehl brand, part of Manitou Amer­icas, Inc. has returned as an asso­ciate sponsor of the team’s IndyCar Series program. Manitou Amer­icas, Inc. is a producer of Gehl, Manitou, and Mustang branded equip­ment for construc­tion, agri­cul­ture, mining, energy indus­tries and beyond. In addi­tion, Gehl will enter into their ninth season of involve­ment with Graham Rahal, whom they have had a personal services contract with since his 2006 Atlantic Cham­pi­onship season where he was runner up to the cham­pion.  Gehl was an asso­ciate sponsor of the race team from 2006 – 2008.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Will Prepare a Second Entry for Oriol Servia in Select 2014 IndyCar Series Events

Veteran Engineer John Dick Returns to RLL as Head of Research and Development for IndyCar Program

(January 30, 2014) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that John Dick has returned to the team as Head of Research and Devel­op­ment for the IndyCar Series program. Dick, who has over 37 years of racing expe­ri­ence, was the race engi­neer for Team Rahal driver Max Papis in 2001, and the combi­na­tion produced two wins and one pole.

Final Test of 2013 Concludes; Rahal Completed 76 Laps Before an Electrical Problem Brought an End to the Test at Approx. 4 PM ET

SEBRING, Fla. (December 19, 2013) – Graham Rahal, 24, completed a two-day test at the 1.65-mile Sebring Inter­na­tional Raceway short course today in prepa­ra­tion for the 2014 IndyCar Series season.  He ran a total of 76 laps with a best lap time of 52.5 with HPD’s new twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine today after running the single turbo here yesterday for 101 laps with a best lap time of 52.37.  Today’s test was brought to an end one hour early when an elec­trical problem surfaced at approx. 4 p.m. ET.

Rahal Optimistic After Completing the First of a Two-Day Test at Sebring

SEBRING, Fla. (December 18, 2013) – Graham Rahal completed a trouble-free day of testing today at the 1.65-mile Sebring Inter­na­tional Raceway short course in prepa­ra­tion for the 2014 IndyCar Series season.  He completed a total of 101 laps with a best lap time of 52.37 with Honda Perfor­mance Development’s single turbo engine installed in the DW12 chassis.  The team will switch to the new HPD twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine overnight and continue testing tomorrow.

(November 18, 2013) – Graham Rahal completed a trouble-free day of testing today at the 1.65-mile Sebring Inter­na­tional Raceway short course in prepa­ra­tion for the 2014 IndyCar Series season.  He completed a total of 107 laps with a best lap time of 53.28.  It was his first test with new race engi­neer Bill Pappas and with Honda Perfor­mance Development’s new twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine.
