GRAHAM RAHAL COMPLETED HIS FIRST INDYCAR TEST FOR 2014 AND RAN A TOTAL OF 107 TROUBLE-FREE LAPS; FIRST TEST WITH PAPPAS AND HONDA’S TWIN TURBO

SEBRING, Fla. (November 18, 2013) – Graham Rahal completed a trouble-free day of testing today at the 1.65-mile Sebring International Raceway short course in preparation for the 2014 IndyCar Series season.  He completed a total of 107 laps with a best lap time of 53.28.  It was his first test with new race engineer Bill Pappas and with Honda Performance Development’s new twin turbocharged 2.2-liter V-6 engine.

Veteran Engineer Bill Pappas Joins Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing as Race Engineer for Graham Rahal

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (October 31, 2013) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that Bill Pappas will join the team as race engineer for Graham Rahal’s IndyCar Series program beginning November 1. Pappas has over 25 years of racing experience after working with teams such as Roush Racing, Chip Ganassi Racing, Walker Racing, Panther Racing, and others. Most recently he was the race engineer for Justin Wilson at Dale Coyne Racing from 2012-2013.

Hughes Named Head of Development for IndyCar Program; Veterans Fife and Davis Join RLL

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (July 23, 2013) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced three key personnel appointments today.

Race engineer Gerry Hughes, who joined the team March 2011 as race engineer, has been named Head of Development for the IZOD IndyCar Series program.  Neil Fife, who was the race engineer for the team’s most recent win at Watkins Glen in 2008 by Ryan Hunter-Reay, will become Graham Rahal’s engineer for the remainder of the season and Mitch Davis has joined the team as crew chief, responsible for preparation of both Rahal and James Jakes’ entries.
