Rousseau Metal to be Primary Sponsor of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Indy Car Entry at the Honda Indy Toronto for Second Consecutive Year

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (July 12, 2016) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that Rousseau Metal, a leader in storage solutions, will be the primary sponsor of the No. 15 Verizon IndyCar Series entry driven by Graham Rahal for the Honda Indy Toronto race on July 17. Quebec-based Rousseau Metal has been a team partner since 2009 and the cabinets are a mainstay in the team’s Indy car and sports car race shops as well as their transporters. Rousseau was also primary sponsor of the team’s No. 15 Indy car entry in Toronto last year.

BMW Team RLL – Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix; Auberlen/Werner Finish Fourth

Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – July 10, 2016… Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner, driving the No. 25 BMW M6 GTLM, finished fourth in today’s Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix, at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. The duo completed 119 laps of the 2.459-mile, 10-turn circuit during the two-hour-and-forty-minute race. Teammates John Edwards and Lucas Luhr, driving the No. 100 M6 GTLM, finished ninth after power steering repairs in the first hour of the race cost the pair 11 laps.

BMW Team RLL – Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen – Auberlen and Werner Finish Third

Woodcliff Lake, N.J. – July 3, 2016… Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner, driving the No. 25 BMW M6 GTLM, finished third in today’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen for the pair’s second podium finish of the season. Teammates John Edwards and Lucas Luhr finished eighth in the No. 100 M6. Both cars completed 190 laps of the 3.4-mile, 11-turn Watkins Glen International circuit during the fifth round of the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The race was won by the No. 67 Ford GT of Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westbrook.

BMW Team RLL Looks Forward to Racing on Two Great Circuits on Consecutive Weekends

Munich (DE), 29th June 2016. Following an eight-week hiatus in the 2016 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IWSC), BMW Team RLL shifts right back into high gear with races at Watkins Glen International (US) on the 3rd July and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CA) one week later. The two venerable North American permanent road courses will surely be a challenging test for the new BMW M6 GTLM that showed early promise at Daytona (US) and Sebring (US), but struggled to put all the pieces of the new package together at Laguna Seca (US).
