Belgian Maxime Martin is part of the BMW M Motorsport family for the second time in his career. Between 2013 and 2017 he celebrated success in the DTM as well as in GT racing. Maxime won several DTM races and triumphed in 2016, when he won his home race, the Spa 24 Hours with the BMW M6 GT3. In 2013, he competed for BMW M Team RLL in the American Le Mans Series, finishing sixth in the GT overall standings alongside Bill Auberlen.
After five years at Aston Martin, where we won the LMGTE Pro class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2020, he returned to BMW M Motorsport in 2023. Last year, he mainly drove for BMW M Team WRT with the BMW M4 GT3, together with MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi, and now will race in the BMW M Hybrid V8 for the first time in the IMSA series.
