ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (May 8, 2024) – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced today that Manitou North America is continuing a long-standing partnership that originated in 2006 with the team. The MANITOU brand will be an associate sponsor on the team’s No. 15 Honda-powered entry for Graham Rahal during the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.
Manitou Group is a producer of MANITOU and GEHL-branded equipment for construction, agriculture, rental, mining, aeronautics, industrial and beyond. Manitou North America has also been a longtime supporter of Graham Rahal, with whom they first worked together during his 2006 Atlantic Championship season where he was runner up to champion Simon Pagenaud.
Manitou North America returns as an associate sponsor of the team’s INDYCAR SERIES program this year. Over the years, Manitou has sponsored Graham Rahal as the 2017 primary sponsor at Iowa Speedway and co-primary sponsor at Road America. Manitou was also the primary sponsor at Road America in 2018 and 2019. In 2021, Manitou North America returned to the team as an associate sponsor for Rahal’s program with the MANITOU brand featured on the race car for the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with RLL and Graham Rahal, showcasing our Manitou brand during the 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES,” said Ilmars Nartish, Vice President of Manitou North America. “This long-standing relationship encompasses Manitou’s drive, passion and innovation, bringing ‘best-for-the-best’ products similar to the day-to-day on and off-track performance delivered by RLL. Our Manitou brand featured on the car strengthens our brand awareness, creating excitement for our North American employees, dealers and customers.”
“The longest standing partnership I have had in my career has been with Manitou and I’m pleased to see them continue their involvement,” said Graham Rahal. “Manitou North America is a great company that builds an unbelievable product and I consider myself fortunate to be close with them for many, many years going all the way back to my time in Formula Atlantic.”
“I have worked with Manitou North America for many years and find their equipment to be of the highest quality,” said Mike Lanigan, co-owner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing with Bobby Rahal and David Letterman. “Their reliability is also spectacular on all of the units that we represent at Lanco. We’re very proud to represent them and look forward to great success in the future.”
The 2024 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season resumes with the Sonsio Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, May 10-11. North America’s premier open-wheel series will crisscross the United States, including a stop for the 108th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 26, before culminating in Nashville for the championship finale Sunday, Sept. 15.
